Hi, my name is Ashley N. Scott.

When I was in the Air Force I worked on hydraulics for 5 years and quickly figured out that every problem does not have a cookie cutter solution. It takes craft AND creativity. As I further developed the first stages of my design process, I completed a Bachelors in Business and doing so allowed me to master financial responsibility and know where to cut costs drastically without losing value.

I honed many skills and maintained values that are still alive and well today – honesty, effective leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. I pride myself on being a capable problem solver, having analytical skills, and a proven ability to work under pressure while meeting strict deadlines.

For details of specific projects I’ve spearheaded, please view my Portfolio, or my Resume.

Now, in my third year of studying Civil Engineering, I’ve worked in small-scale construction – roofing, window installation, and concrete work. I focus on improvements to environmentally friendly aspects of design – one of my long-term personal goals is to build my home by 2030 with zero carbon footprint. It will rely entirely on renewable power. My Portfolio page is the best place to find more details on this exciting project and many more!

When not working, you’ll find me walking my Kooikerhondje, Rat Terrier mix, and Husky puppies, drawing, or honing my passion for physical fitness – I practice HIIT training, circuits, basic weights, and core ab work. I’m currently training for a marathon in September 2018 – see my Marathon Progress page for updates on my training.

It’s so nice to meet you and I look forward to providing you the highest level of design expertise.

To forging a path ahead,

P.S. Don’t forget to contact me. I’d love to hear from you!
